Improvement of QDaedalus measurements with continuous detection of environmental parameters

Abstract QDaedalus is an automated, computer-controlled astro-geodetic measurement system. Astronomical deflections of the vertical measured by system are significantly influenced atmospheric refraction. Therefore, measuring was further improved recording environmental parameters influencing refraction (air pressure, temperature, humidity) with accurate and high time resolution. In addition to meteorological parameters, also depends on spectrum stars. Both continuously color stars were taken into account in calculation To control method, we used deflection values Pistahegy point southern part Budapest which determined over 7 years during 260 night measurements. The corrected measurements fit within 0.01" average value previous standard deviation differences due corrections, however, may reach 0.015" for DOV components.
